Brian Sweatt

Brian Sweatt earned his Bachelor's degree in Guidance and Counseling from Bob Jones University. In 2001, he completed his Master's degree in Educational Administration and Supervision from Tennessee Temple University. Mr. Sweatt and his wife Barbara were married in June 1996 and have two children, Alexandra and Kobe.

Brian is on the local YMCA board and has served as the Chairman of the Board in 2013 and 2014. Brian is also on the board of the Middle TN Athletic Conference and will join the Rocketown board (a ministry founded for inner-city children by Christian singer, Michael W. Smith). Brian has previously served as the Chairman of the Educational Committee for the Crossings Nashville Action Partnership where he led efforts for a community-wide science fair, assisted with hosting the Scripps Regional Spelling Bee and developed the educational resource Antioch, Excellence in Education.

Brian and his family are involved in supporting several charitable organizations including Special Olympics, Second Harvest Food Bank, Operation Christmas Child, The YMCA, and The Nashville Predators Foundation. Brian has experience as an Athletic Director, Guidance Counselor, and Director of Development. He has also been a successful football coach winning several Georgia Athletic Christian Schools State Championships. He has been the Headmaster at Lighthouse Christian School since 2003 and led the recovery efforts for LCS during the devastating Nashville Floods of May 2010. This included the hit TV show, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and the wonderful Nashville community led by LP Building Products, Hardaway Construction, DAAD Architecture, and GS & F to rebuild Lighthouse Christian Preschool. Lighthouse Christian School has also been a part of CBS Game Changers and Sportsnet Hockey.
