Destenee Hogans was born in Oakland, California to Dwayne and Jacolyn Hogans. Right before Destenee’s sixth birthday her father and mother along with her two older brothers relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada to embark on a new life. From a very young age Destenee knew she was peculiar and without a doubt stood out amongst her peers. She played sports, joined clubs, and even socialized; but unlike most adolescence she loved church. Destenee’s love for the Lord eventually caused her to be an outcast, but she remained faithful with her walk. When Destenee turned 18 she left for Lane College in Jackson, Tennessee where she studied Interdisciplinary studies and possessed many titles and accolades. As Miss. Lane College 2013, National Vice-President of the United Negro College Fund, a lead vocalist in the Lane College Concert Choir, and graduating Cum Laude, Destenee decided to push herself further and continue her education. Destenee now attends Trevecca Nazarene University studying Marriage and Family Therapy. She takes pride in her church family (The Chapel at Antioch), her friends, her family, and most importantly her walk with Christ.
