Through this blog, we aim to celebrate the accomplishments of our former students, highlight their inspiring stories, and reconnect with them. Our alumni are the true ambassadors of Lighthouse Christian School and exemplify our core values of Love, Honor, and Trust. We take immense pride in their achievements and love reconnecting with these special LCS Alumni. Join us on this journey as we explore the lives and careers of our Roaring Lions.

Jeremiah Soleil | Class of 2018

"Since I left Lighthouse, I went on to pursue a worship leadership degree. Within that, I was able to get certified in worship leadership. During my freshmen year of college, I was featured on TV and won a free car, laptop, and a big check! I was nominated by some people to News Channel 4 to be gifted with such things because of serving 10+ years of ministry in my local community.

With the blessing of a car, I was able to go and lead worship in New Jersey, Indiana, and Nashville. After that, I went on to pursue worship even further and it became a full-time job. God led me after completing two years of school to go to Pennsylvania, where I met my wife. I had the opportunity to go on tour with a worship band and went all over the US, singing in front of thousands of people. After coming off the tour, I decided to start leading worship for a recovery church and even had the opportunity to preach there as well. I witnessed every kind of addict become set free by the power of Jesus.

I was then offered a job in Illinois to be a full-time worship pastor, and I accepted it. My wife and I moved to Peoria, Illinois, where I am now the Worship Pastor of an amazing church of 850+ people. I lead a team of about 25 and a choir of 30. My wife and I just had a beautiful baby girl in March!

I have also become a well-known photographer in my area and I am using it as a ministry as well. I am preaching the Gospel to so many people within the sports community! All I can say is thank you Jesus for blessing me with this life. I am truly thankful to Lighthouse for training me up in a biblically based school and helping me build a strong foundation so I can stay in a relationship with Jesus as I spread his hope and love to my city!"

We are so grateful for Alumni like Jeremiah who continue to love and serve their community with the gifts God has given them. If you would like to share YOUR story about how Lighthouse has impacted your life, let us know! Email info@lighthouseministries.org and tell us your story!
